Celebrating its 65th year in 2014, the South Shore Frolics is one of the oldest festivals in Milwaukee. Originally known as the South Shore Water Frolic, it is currently sponsored by the Bay View Lions Club. Proceeds go to providing support and services to the needy in the community and the WisconsinLions Camp. At the park you will find kids games, fish fry, bands, an Art Show & Classic Car Show.
Rounding off each night is the festival's signature Atomic Fireworks display put on by Bartolotta Fireworks; and with the crowds' cries of "Blow up the beach!" the evening culminates in a percussive onslaught of shells.
PARADE NOTE: The lineup is complete and in the mail, if you haven't received confirmation by July 9th, please contact Carol Kraco at firstname.lastname@example.org. Parade starts at 11 am sharp. Please arrive early enough to be ready to step off on time.
